Mandarin Ministry

Mandarin Ministry is heavily focusing on Mandarin Sunday School to develop a closely bonded relationship with Christ.  

“Church is a Seminary School, you are either a teacher or a student,” a respected pastor once said.
Isn’t there a third choice? What is Jesus’ idea of being a true disciple?
Many “believed” Jesus as they saw the miracles he performed, yet Jesus did not “trust “himself to them, because he knew them all”   (John 2:24)
Ok, those were just the crowd who were caught by the frenzy of witnessing too many miracles. How about the “followers”? 
Many followers turned away from Jesus upon hearing his command to “eat my flesh, drink my blood.” They grumbled, “The teaching is too hard, who can listen to it?”  The sound of retreat was deafening. They did not give themselves the chance to learn from the teaching.
What was Jesus’ reaction? He let them go. For being a believer or follower is never enough for Jesus.  He wants true disciples who remain united to Him.
“Remain united to me and I will remain united to you. A branch cannot bear fruit by itself, it can do so only if it remain in the vine.”  (John 15:4)
“If you obey my teaching, you are really my disciples: you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:33)
Guess that settles it. There is no casual student in God’s school of learning. We are to obey his teaching by remaining united to Him. What could be a better way of accomplishing this than by joining Sunday School?  Through joining Sunday school, we branches can join forces and keep one another accountable to remain in the vine, Jesus Christ.

Bible Study:

Wednesday Night 7:30pm at Hwei-Min's residence

Thursday Morning 9:30am at church building

Friday Night 7:30pm at church building
(Due to Brother and sisterhood meeting, we will not have Bible Study on first Friday of every month)

Sunday School 10:00am every Sunday at church building
